Phoenix Self-Protection System

The Phoenix Self-Protection System is designed for non-martial artists who desire reasonable self-defense skills and tactics that may help them avoid or escape aggressive confrontations. The system was developed with a foundation from Chen Taijiquan (Tai Chi), Wing Chun and Jiu-Jitsu. It focuses on psychological and physical aspects of an attack and ways of dealing with them. The self-protection workshops are not for people seeking to learn how to fight. The training offers ways for the non-combatant to defend himself or herself enough to escape an aggressive situation.

Workshop participants are exposed to stand-up and ground defense and tactics. We believe it is important to have these skills, techniques, and knowledge to help avoid and, if necessary, escape a potentially dangerous confrontation.

Registration is limited to ensure high quality training. Please RSVP early to secure a spot at the workshop.

Topics covered:
Situational awareness
Tips to lower probability of becoming a target
